I am a 25 year old female living in the Greater Seattle area, although I have also lived in the South West.
I struggle daily with Agoraphobia, Anxiety, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). My PTSD is a fairly recent diagnosis. I just want to add that my PTSD is not combat related.
I also have physical medical issues, including sciatica, disk problems, and cognitive issues from multiple traumatic brain injuries (TBI), as well as epileptic and non-epileptic seizures.
I have been struggling with a lot of these issues since I was a teen, but more recently new things have developed which make day-to-day life very difficult at time.
I am lucky to have a supportive family and boyfriend, although I have not told them fully about the full extent of my medical issues. I don't feel comfortable talking to them about the PTSD and agoraphobia.
