So I had yet another Neurologist appointment. I told them of the horrendous headaches I've been having (which may or may not be tied to the Provera).
Every time I have an appointment I see a Resident/Intern person, and then I see my head neurologist, Dr. Zunt. He rocks my socks. He has been so awesome. He gave me a new referral to the people I needed referrals to, and tried to find people closer to where I live so I don't have to drive so far (or rather, K doesn't have to drive so far).
Anyways, UP UP UP goes my Topamax prescription. I was on 200mg a day total, spread out twice a day by 100 mg pills. Now I'm going up to 400mg a day total, with 200mg pills twice a day. But I have to do it gradually over a couple of weeks. Of course I can't keep all of the pills at my home to make it convenient, I have to keep running to the pharmacy for the refills due to insurance reasons. That's 3 unnecessary trips.
Hopefully I will have more good days as a result of the medication adjustment.
